FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

For the Beginners course, you should be comfortable swimming 100m in a pool without stopping. Our coaches will assess your ability on day one and adjust accordingly.

What do I need to bring?

Just your swimwear, a towel, and a warm change of clothes. We provide wetsuits, swim caps, and safety buoys. Goggles recommended but available to borrow.

Is it safe to swim in the Yarra?

Absolutely, when done at the right locations and conditions. We monitor water quality rigorously and cancel sessions if conditions aren't suitable. See our Safety Guide for details.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Light rain doesn't stop us — it's part of the open water experience! Sessions are only cancelled for thunderstorms, flooding, or poor water quality. Full refund or reschedule offered.
